Put productivity on the fast track.
SMARTX HUB® enables the Industrial Internet of Things is the industrial application of a network of physical objects, that contain embedded technology to communicate and sense or interact with their internal states or the external environment.
In manufacturing, connected sensor networks already monitor logistics movements and machines such as mining equipment and entire utility plants, helping organizations reduce costs through more efficient operations.
Automated asset tracking helps to improve efficiency and save costs for manufacturing facilities, which are tasked with managing hundreds of pieces of equipment, files and other assets across large facilities.See the location of items in real-time for visibility into workflow status and resource planning.
Reduce capital expenditures and rental costs through efficient use of equipment and ensure compliance with maintenance and regulated processes.
ENABLING THE SMARTX WAREHOUSE
RFID can help the entire supply chain function more efficiently, more responsively and more profitably.
A key tool emerging with this significant trend in the apparel supply chain is RFID. As a result, supplies and equipment will be automatically located and managed as they are moved from manufacturing production facilities, through warehouse logistic facilities, and finally to retail.
RFID is an inventory tracking technology that provides superior inventory intelligence that can be used to improve business processes throughout every link in the supply chain.
The fully integrated solution can help the oil and gas industry minimize rig downtime, enhance asset utilization, reduce manual processing, and lessen data errors, write-offs, shrinkage, and theft.
ASSET CONDITIONS MONITORING
By collecting sensor telemetry data and using our advanced Condition Monitoring algorithms, are able to filter out non-vital data to accurately portray trend-line information, predict failure and provide alerts so that remedial actions can be scheduled before an equipment is about to stop functioning, thereby reducing downtime and avoiding lost capacity. Maintenance and replacements can be scheduled based on trendline and predictive analysis. The key to effective monitoring is not just collecting relevant data in real-time, but allowing you to act on this data immediately.
WE’RE BRIDGING THE GAP BETWEEN DIGITAL AND PHYSICAL – AND THIS IS WHERE WE TALK ABOUT IT.
The platform delivers an item's identity, location, and authenticity.
KNOW WHERE YOUR STAFF IS LOCATED
The Smartx Hub® Personnel Tracking System is a fully integrated personnel tracking solution that can monitor personnel in real-time. The system is powered by three key components:
- Personnel Location Software
- RFID Wearable Tags
- RFID Readers or Edge Gateways
These three components work together to locate personnel and can be customized to address the needs of any business environment.Best of all, staff tracking solutions are achieved via passive RFID and/or Beacons, so there's no interruption in staff routine.
When you know where your people, equipment, and visitors are, you gain new visibility to staff performance.
Reduce cost of leased RTI’s through more efficient inventory tracking.
The use of returnable transport items (pallets, roll cages, returnable plastic containers, tote boxes, ingredients bins, dollies, IBCs, etc) is an increasing phenomenon in the modern supply chain, with companies constantly seeking to reduce costs, increase handling efficiencies and improve environmental responsibility through less waste.
Increasingly stringent traceability regulation worldwide requires companies not only to provide a complete audit of product and ingredients movement in the supply chain but also compels them to track secondary packaging and materials handling equipment flows associated with product shipment. In addition, the supply chain suffers significant costs annually, associated with the loss of equipment/assets and their subsequent replacement.
SmartX Hub® offers an affordable and efficient way to get the greatest value from RTI inventories.
RFID tags on each individual unit make it possible to accurately and automatically track its movement, using fixed readers at strategic in-and-out portals at the distribution center or mobile devices (handheld, cellphones, tablets) readers for mobile read points at remote /customer facilities.
Radio frequency identification, or RFID, uses radio waves to communicate between a RFID reader and an electronic tag affixed to an object.
Each tag is encoded with a unique identifier that is tied to a database. Tags can be read using handheld or mobile readers, shelf or tabletop readers, or readers that can be installed at doorways or in portal configurations.
A line of sight is not required – tags can be read automatically, even through packaging materials and in transit, whenever moving items or people come within range of a reader. RFID systems greatly streamline inventory and asset tracking, virtually eliminating human error while providing instant, detailed records of the movement of assets.
The Most Advanced Software Platform for Unified Asset Visibility
Our software Platform Smartx Hub®, a 100% cloud-based, is a cost-effective way to continuously monitor and proactively manage the location, status, and condition of all assets across the enterprise in real-time.
Smartx Asset intelligence technology is the missing link. It’s the critical enabler that bridges the gap between the data residing in your corporate information systems – EAMs, ERPs, CMMS – and your real-world assets in-the-field.
Smartx is leading the innovation in the IoT space as market leaders in Unified Asset Visibility, delivering complete context-aware solutions based on the location, status, and condition of valuable assets. Smartx Hub software solution uses standard RFID and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE beacons) Tags to accurately monitor the location, status, health and performance of assets (including inventory, equipment, and workforce), and utilize that information to deliver direct business benefits with a high return on investment.
