Combining Aerial Drone Technology with the Internet of Things (IoT)
Air drones provide automatic, accurate, fast, and safe inventory checks at the frequency chosen by the user. Wouldn’t that make your life as a manager easier with you have a “flying inventory assistants” to replace people having to walk around and collect information about what’s in stock.
Aerial Asset Inventory and Tracking
"The UAV SmartHub is a very powerful cloud based platform that works with the Scan Hub Data is sent via WiFi or wireless connectivity from the ScanHub™ directly to the UAV SmartHub™ cloud platform. The data is available within minutes."
Logistic and Yard Management
Search your asset in a logistic yard or warehouse
Each vehicle is fitted with a Smartx TAG that can be tethered to the rearview mirror or patented Pole Tag. The active Tag emits a unique identifier every second. The Tag's ID number is linked to the car's details, such as its make, model and vehicle identification number (VIN), via SMARTX HUB platform's integration with the WMS System (OR DMS) software.
Inter-site Visibility Solution
Reduce the cost of carrying out such inspections
Drones have become the most efficient type of solution for the inspection of several thousands of oil and gas pipelines. These assets must be constantly monitored to reduce the potential for undetected leaks and line breakages which can cause life threatening fires and explosions.
UAVs can fly within meters of the offshore platform whilst sending real-time sensor information to the UAV SmartX™ Cloud Platform.
Pipeline Inspection & Life-management
Increase equipment availability
The Smartx Hub® enables overseeing the location of all vehicles, trailers, containers and racks as well as yard service vehicles throughout the yard in real-time while automatically generating accurate inventory information. Prevent shortages and operational disruptions
Locating all goods in the warehouse
Locating all goods and containers in the warehouse
The system performs Aerial inventory checks throughout the warehouse, accurately identifying inventory in multi-locations, at the frequency needed.
The air inventory check provides on demand goods counts and avoids the time, expense, and risk of using a people lift to access difficult to reach locations within the warehouse
Using a drone to scan RFID tags could ultimately enable “push button inventory”
Automatic identification and location of hard-to-reach inventory
The RFID drones would scan the contents of the warehouse, noting each item and where it is.
